Clothing Guidelines

Embrace Consignment takes great care to ensure that our selection of items is of the utmost quality and "sale ability". Sometimes there will be "No Thank-yous", please understand that our customers preferences must be our selection guidelines. We accept what our customers buy. In an effort to save your valuable time and ours, please examine your items before bringing them in.

No Appointment necessary. 50/50 split. No Fees.

*Clothing must be in flawless condition, purchased new within the last 5 years, and in season. Items with missing buttons, stains, tears, snags, odors, excessive lint/hair, or too worn will not be accepted.

*Clothing needs to be neatly folded in a basket or container. Items in garbage bags will not be accepted.

Embrace staff will look through 30 items and return to you any "no thank-yous". Embrace reserves the right to donate any items that are later discovered to be unacceptable.

If you would like your items back at the end of your consignment period, it is your responsibility to know your end date and retrieve your items. You will not receive money for items sold after your consignment period. We will give you a print out and you will have to pull the items from the floor. Items not retrieved become property of Embrace.

Consignment Period:

Clothing/Accessories: 45 days (30 items daily) - 10 Jewelry items daily

Money made during your consignment period does not expire.

Furniture Guidelines

Embrace Consignment selects the highest quality pre-owned home furnishings. Items must be stylish, in good condition, clean and in an acceptable style to our purchasers. Embrace reserves the right to reject any item. Our goal is to provide the finest in pre-owned home furnishings for our customers. We will only accept items that we believe will sell quickly. Prior to bringing in large pieces consignors may bring photos of their items to the store or email pictures to embraceconsignment@yahoo.com prior to ensure acceptance.

Consignment Period: 60 days (15 items daily). 50/50 split. No appointment necessary. Money made during your consignment period does not expire.

Embrace will price your merchandise to provide you fair market value, while also offering value to our customers.

If the merchandise has not sold within the 60-day consignment period, it is the responsibility of the consignor to pick their items up. We do not make courtesy calls when your items expire. The items must be reclaimed within 7 days of the expiration date. Embrace reserves the right to sell those items until they are removed by the consignor. Items left in the shop past the retrieval period will become the property of Embrace to clearance or donate at our discretion.

Embrace accepts the following home furnishings:

*Couches, chairs, recliners, ottomans

*Dressers, desks, chests, coffee/end tables, sofa tables, tv stands

*Lamps (must have light bulb), lanterns

*Wall decor, mirrors, picture frames 8x10 or larger

*Vases, candle holders, Longaberger baskets,

*Seasonal decor (limited to specific time frame)

*Headboards, jewelry boxes, curio cabinet

*Table sets, dining sets (china cabinet/hutch only in set), buffets

Embrace does not accept: appliances, mattresses, electronics, kitchenware (pots, pans, cooking utensils, flatware, etc), small knick-knacks/figurines, used bedding, most wood shelves, used hardwire lighting fixtures (chandeliers), entertainment centers, armoires, or china/serving dishes/glass vases.
